Surgery For Pets in Delray Beach accommodates urgent surgical cases during business hours, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM, with after-hours emergencies handled by availability.
What this involves
Some surgical problems get worse by the hour. When that is the case, the priority is a fast, accurate assessment and a plan you can actually decide on — including what it will cost — before anything begins.
Symptoms
These are the signs owners most often describe before a pet is referred to us. Any one of them is worth a conversation.
- Repeated unproductive vomiting, or a distended abdomen
- Straining to urinate and producing nothing — this is an emergency
- A deep or contaminated wound
- Sudden collapse, pale gums, or laboured breathing
- Known ingestion of a toy, bone, sock or corn cob

If yours is not answered here, call us — we would rather talk it through than leave you guessing.
Call us first. We handle after-hours emergencies by availability, and if we cannot take the case ourselves we will direct you immediately to the nearest 24-hour emergency hospital that can. You will not lose time working out where to go.

If your pet is in distress outside our hours, call us first — we will direct you to the right care immediately.
